Tuffy Morwitzer

I've worked across various movements for 20 years employing a critique of capitalism and colonisation through praxis. Currently I'm a campaigner for the Goongerah Environment Centre - working to protect and restore East Gippsland's forests. My overall experience as an organiser has been deeply rooted in solidarity and bottom up organising. My previous work within the Australia Services Union (ASU) sharpened my skill set in broad based organising, which i'm looking to deepen with COF, and use as part of the forest transition space. With climate crises deepening, building a care economy has become increasingly relevant to my work. In my spare time i like to take photos and make experimental documentary art!
