I am volunteering with the Climate and Health Action Network (CHAN). We are a network of health students, health professionals and anyone with a background or interest in health, who are working towards informing and training others in climate action in the Gippsland region. Community organising is widespread and perpetual sharing of skills and knowledge between people of all walks of life, so people can work together effectively. The end result is people overcoming barriers to working together, becoming collectively enlightened and empowered, and banding together to achieve a common goal.
