After years of voluntary hands on river restoration work on the Macquarie River, I was exposed to the complex and emotional world of Murray Darling Basin water management in December 2016.
Since that time, I have dived head first into my role as a Healthy River Ambassador for the Macquarie and Castlereagh Rivers.
Established in 2017, the community group 'Healthy Rivers Dubbo' is active in giving a voice to the rivers of the Northern Murray Darling Basin environment.
