I grew up on Turrbal land, Brisbane, on the shores of beautiful Moreton Bay.
I was involved in student activism campaigning against the excesses of the Bjelke-Petersen government and attacks on unionism, demonstrations, women's rights, land rights, and peace and nuclear disarmament.
I later worked as a teacher and nurse in remote, regional and urban contexts across the NT, WA and Qld.
I'm now an organiser for the Australian Services Union in the NT, my particular interests are alliance development, climate justice and escalating our transition from fossil fuels to renewables across all sectors.
