Chloe Badcock

Having grown up in rural Tassie, I'm passionate about empowering rural communities who have suffered environmental injustices and ensuring they are not left behind in the transition away from coal.
I currently work as a public interest environmental lawyer at Environmental Justice Australia on Wurundjeri and Gunaikurnai land. I work with the Latrobe Valley community to minimise toxic coal pollution and to hold environmental regulators to account
I have been involved in the environmental movement for years in fundraising and research roles, including with Friends of the Earth and Climate for Change. Through working with these orgs and the Latrobe Valley community, I have seen the incredible things people power can achieve!
