I am a Bard (Aboriginal) and Samsep (Torres Strait Islander) person from Lombadina Community/Broome in the West Kimberley region. I grew up in a nice tropical area, a few cyclones but more fishing, spearing, diving, camping than anything.
Since October 2021, I have been working for Social Reinvestment WA as the Community Campaigner for the Raise the Age Campaign in WA. I consider my campaign very important as Australia is still locking away 10 years old when we should be raising the age, no child should lose hope and family connection by being incarcerated. Every child needs the opportunity for a better future.
