In 2013, I was working on the Australian Youth Climate Coalition’s Save the Reef campaign, working to develop the strategy behind the campaign, managing an organiser on the ground in Yeppoon, working with the Keppel and Fitzroy Delta Alliance and managing our Queensland state branch to implement campaign tactics. Prior to this I was a State Co-Coordinator for AYCC in NSW. I helped re-establish the NSW branch and built up a branch of 50 committed volunteers and eight local community action groups.

After graduating, I went on to lead our campaign focusing on the Australian construction company Lend Lease to withdraw their expression of interest from the Abbot Point export terminal in Queensland. More recently, I have been appointed AYCC’s Director.
